PRE & POST CARE

                                     PRE-CARE

 

It is absolutely crucial that you follow your Pre-Care instructions to achieve the full results:
  • Do not work out for 3 days after procedure
  • NO alcohol or caffeine 48 hours before procedure.
  • Avoid sun and tanning one week after procedure
  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure.
  • Avoid Fish Oil for 1 week and Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes 48 hours prior to procedure.
  • Discontinue Retin-A, Chemical and Laser Peels, microdermabrasion, and Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) for at least 3 weeks prior (and avoid on eyebrow area after procedure to prevent premature fading)
  •  Botox and filler on the procedure area should be avoided at least 4 weeks prior to procedure.
  • Avoid ginger, cinnamon, garlic, black and cayenne pepper for 48 hours.
  • No brow waxing, tinting and threading around the area 1-week prior
  • You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle
 

Additional pre care for LIPS

  • Start moisturizing EVERYDAY 1 week prior to appointment
  • If you are prone to cold sores, be sure to start taking over the counter or prescribed medications by your doctor.

Additional pre care for Eyeliners

  • No eyelash extension before procedure
  • Do not wear contact lenses during procedure

                                  AFTER-CARE

 

EYEBROWS:

 

  • Avoid getting eyebrows wet for at least 3 days.
  • Apply “CURAD” or VASELINE ointment for 3 days, 2 times a day (morning and night). One time means before and after washing your face or taking a shower.
  • Before watering: Use Q-tip applies a thin layer of “CURAD” or VASELINE ointment over eyebrows and seal the eyebrows with clear plastic wrap (food wrap) to keep out of the water.
  • After done watering, remove the plastic wrap; gently wipe off and re-apply a thin layer of “CURAD” or VASELINE ointment on the eyebrows again.

Post Appearance: The appearance of your new Permanent Eyebrows will be darker and thicker than you might expect. Usually after about a week or 10 days, the area and top layer starts to scab and “shed” off in sections. The new exposed pigment will eventually soften and settle into an appropriate natural appearance. Also, be careful to limit any exercise physical activities or exposure to direct sunlight, and be sure: “NOT TO PICK, PEEL OR SCRUB YOUR TATTOOS   “as they heal because this will cause scarring. In total, this initial period should take approximately two (2) weeks for your tattooed eyebrows to fully heal and set.
No: makeup, tinting or lash or brows, sun, soap, sauna, Jacuzzi, swimming in chlorine pools or in the recreational
bodies of water, contact with animals, or gardening for 7-10 days until area is completely healed.

EYELINERS:

  • Place ice pack on tattoo area only after finishing initial procedure for 15 minutes to reduce swelling if needed. Apply “CURAD” or VASELINE ointment for 3 days, 2 times a day (morning and night before watering).
  • Try to keep it dry for 3 days; it takes approximately 7- 10 days for the scabbing to completely peel off.

LIPS:

  • Place ice pack on tattoo area only after finishing initial procedure for 15 minutes to reduce swelling if needed.
  • Apply “CURAD” or VASELINE ointment for 3 days, 2 times a day (morning and night). One time means before and after washing your face or teeth brushing.
  • Before watering, Use Q-tip applies “CURAD” or VASELINE ointment cream over the lips to seal it out of the water.
  • After watering, gently wipe off and re-apply “CURAD” or VASELINE ointment on the lips again.
  • To keep your lips always clean to avoid infection from Food’s bacteria, please wash your lips quickly after finish eating, wipe off gently then apply “CURAD” or VASELINE ointment.
  • Lips will tend to be very dry. Some peeling may occur after 3 days and peel off in a week. DO NOT PEEL Off! Do not eat seafood’s, beef, hot and spicy food, soy Sause in 2 weeks. Lips have a tendency to fade up to 40-60% after initial procedure then the color will come up and getting darker day by day in a month.

POLICIES

 You may NOT receive a PMU service if you have any of the following conditions

● Under 18 years of age
● Diabetes
● Pregnant or lactating women
● Glaucoma
● Skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema and undiagnosed rashes or blisters on the area that is to
be treated, easily form keloids
● Allergies to makeup
● Easily triggered post inflammatory hyperpigmentation
● Transmittable blood conditions like HIV or Hepatitis
● Active skin cancer in the area to be tattooed
● Hemophiliac
● Healing disorder
● Blood thinners
● Uncontrolled high blood pressure or mitral valve disorder
● Accutane or steroids
● Active shingles
● Sunburn
● Anemia or other abnormal bleeding conditions
● Autoimmune disease

In prior to the appointment, it is your responsibility to:  Let me know if you have/had allergic reactions to topical anesthetics.

Rescheduling

If you wish to reschedule, a 3-day advanced notice is required. 

Corrections / Previous Work

If you have had any previous work done, please send me a picture of the area without any makeup, in good lighting, with no filter, from the front and sides to see if you’ll need a correction.

Touch Up

SEMI- Permanent makeup is a 2-step process. 

Touch ups are recommended after 4-6 weeks.
